FEDERAL

The federal government announced an additional $155 million investment to extend the Innovation Assistance Program to support small and medium-sized businesses in the innovation sector;

Dr. Tam indicated health officials are cautiously optimistic a safe and effective vaccine will be available in the first quarter of 2021.

PROVINCIAL

Premier Ford announced the Valour Games will be held in Ottawa for veterans and active service members from across Canada to compete as athletes; $3 million in funding will be dedicated to the games;

The province has moved Public Health Unit Regions into the COVID-19 Response Framework;
