FEDERAL

The Federal government is expanding the Canada Emergency Business Account loans;

PROVINCIAL

Premier Ford did not address the media today; he participated in the first meeting of the COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force.

The Ontario government announced the appointment of nine members of the new Ministers’ COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force.

The Ontario government is investing $20 million to help small businesses sponsor and train apprentices through the new Group Sponsorship Grant program.

YORK REGION

York Region remains in Red-Control zone

During the month of December, updates on on-going enforcement activities will be made available on the Enforcing COVID-19 Regulations web page every Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m.

As part of its #ShoplocalYR campaign, York Region will feature several municipalities each Friday throughout December using #FeatureFriday; Newmarket and Aurora were featured today.
