FEDERAL

Health Canada and the European Medicines Agency published clinical data used to support their authorizations of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. The federal government announced the rollout of funding from the 2020 Fall Economic Statement supporting arts and live events workers in response to COVID-19.

PROVINCIAL

The Ontario government issued a news release indicating to date more than $1 billion has been provided through the Ontario Small Business Support Grant to help eligible business owners affected by COVID-19 restrictions; more than 78,000 Ontario Small Business Support Grant applications have been processed representing more than $1 billion in support. The Ontario government announced support for the arts sector with a one-time investment of $25 million to help artists and arts organizations survive the COVID-19 pandemic and resume full programming.
