PROVINCIAL

Premier Ford announced the establishment of Supply Ontario, a centralized procurement agency to purchase goods and services;

The Ontario government and the agri-food industry released a strategy to prevent COVID-19 transmission and protect farm workers and the food supply chain ahead of next year’s growing season.

YORK REGION

York Region moved to RED-Control zone at 12:01 a.m. this morning; information and details about restrictions were shared on york.ca and the Region’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels.

The public health safety measures for each zone in the COVID-19 Response Framework, including RED-Control, are available at york.ca/preventcovid19.

The MAPS dashboard on york.ca/covid19 has two new features, tabs for Lab Testing Rate and Lab Positivity Rate have been added to the Maps of COVID-19 in York Region section;
