FEDERAL

Prime Minister Trudeau announced a $10 billion infrastructure plan to build strong communities as Canadians get back to work. The plan will invest in five major initiatives including clean power, broadband connectivity, large-scale building retrofits, agriculture irrigation and zero-emission bus and charging infrastructure;

PROVINCIAL

Provincial government announced the next steps in the fall preparedness plan, which includes $461 million to temporarily enhance wages for Personal Support Workers;

Public Health Ontario released revised screening guidance for schools and childcare to help parents better determine when a child should seek COVID-19 testing
